  He is the founder of Biocliff with a goal of a bioniche for all the life science researchers out there. He is a professional in the area of Genomics with an expertise on Next Generation Sequencing, Exome Analysis, Third generation sequencers. He has been working as NGS analyst in a genome analysis team with a service provider.

  My early career started off at Amrita School of Biotechnology with a graduate and post-graduate degree in Biotechnology. As a part of my Master’s dissertation, I got the opportunity to work in Prof. C. Jayabaskaran’ s laboratory in the Department of Biochemistry, IISc, Bengaluru, where I learned the basics of different analytical techniques and in-depth knowledge of secondary metabolites and endophytic fungi. After completing my Master’s in 2015, I joined in Dr. Sandeep M Eswarappa’ s laboratory (SME lab) in the same department who was a new faculty at that time. I had the rare opportunity of being one of his first students. Thereby, I got the experience of setting up a new lab to get it up and running. In our lab, we are trying to understand the stress tolerance mechanisms of tardigrades and in the long run, transform that knowledge into potential technological innovations.
